The Manor (Main House)
Circa 1820-1823, Grand Greek Revival Manor featuring 7 guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom. The formal dining room in the Manor is where all guests on the property are served a Full Country “Gourmet” Breakfast. The SPA Treatment Room and GYM are located in the basement level.
Sweet Old Fashioned

The Sweet Old Fashioned is a Bourbon Whiskey cocktail that was created in the late 1800s at the Pendennis Club in Louisville in honor of James E. Pepper, a well-known bourbon distiller in the area whose name is now on 1776 Bourbon. This classic, sweet drink is made by dissolving sugar in bitters, and then adding Bourbon and a twist of lemon – best served with ice. Because of its name and age, the Sweet Old Fashioned is known as a classic and somewhat romantic drink.

The Sweet Old Fashioned Room at Bourbon Manor is easily one of the most classic elegant, cozy, and romantic places to stay on the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky. Todd was the perfect host— offering tons of great recommendations and even making our dinner reservation in Bardstown. To top off the romantic getaway, the owners prepared the most delicious breakfast. Would recommend this Kentucky B&B over and over!
Mint Julep

Any horse-racing enthusiast knows that the Mint Julep is the drink of tradition at the Kentucky Derby. It is made by muddling mint leaves in a bit of water, and then adding bourbon, sugar, and crushed or shaved ice. The drink traditionally creates a frost on the outside of the glass. The romance of its Kentucky history made this drink an obvious choice for one of our inviting rooms.

This Bardstown Bed and Breakfast is a gem- perfect for a romantic getaway. The facilities and grounds were gorgeous, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind, and the bed was so comfortable! We stayed in the Mint Julep room in the main house and it was a perfect couples retreat. Stephanie took such good care of us at check-in and at The Bunghole bar out back. We hope to stay at this B&B again next time we’re in Kentucky.

What a jewel of a place. My wife & I planned a two-day anniversary getaway to Bourbon Manor, this romantic Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Bardstown Kentucky. This is our third romantic getaway at Bourbon Manor, the Kentucky Bed and Breakfast that never disappoints. The home itself is gorgeous— and the room is very comfortable (the sheets are amazing). The staff is so kind and accommodating, and makes outstanding breakfasts! There are no other places to stay in Bardstown, maybe even all of Kentucky that even come close. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else on our next couples getaway and can’t wait to return to the Hotty Toddy room next year.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our romantic getaway to this Bardstown Bed and Breakfast! The room was clean and very comfortable. The property around the manor is gorgeous and it creates a very relaxing environment for couples. The staff at the Bourbon Manor B&B is so helpful! After breakfast was complete, Todd asked if we needed any suggestions for things to do during the day. He was so knowledgeable and helpful in giving us ideas of places we might like to visit and recommendations of places to have dinner in Bardstown and beyond. Breakfast was one of our favorite parts of staying there! Both my husband and I have food allergies. They did an incredible job of not only accommodating our allergies but also making exceptional food that we enjoyed eating! Neither of us felt that we were missing out on what the others were eating. When looking for places to stay in Bardstown, Kentucky, I would highly recommend staying at the Bourbon Manor B&B.
Manhattan Honeymoon Hideaway
Rediscover romance in the Manhattan Honeymoon Hideaway at Bardstown Kentucky’s Bourbon Manor. Perfect for a honeymoon travel destination, our largest and most private guestroom suite features its very own exterior entrance, beautiful antiques, a king-size canopy bed, fireplace, Smart TV, and jetted tub.
The Manhattan is a traditional drink made of bourbon, sweet vermouth, bitters, a cherry, and a twist of orange. As the name implies, it was created in Manhattan; however, Kentucky has made our own variation of this drink a tradition.
PLEASE NOTE: This Guestroom is located on the second floor. To access the room, guests must go up a rather steep, narrow, winding stairway. Please be advised to bring smaller luggage and not have issues with stairs. These steps may not be suitable for some, so please choose accordingly.

Another great romantic getaway to the Bourbon Manor Bed & Breakfast in Bardstown, KY. We've made it a tradition each year for our anniversary. We stayed in the B&B’s romantic Manhattan Honeymoon Hideaway this time which is a couple's delight. The room has a private entrance, a personal parking spot by the door, and lots of space that includes a fireplace. The king-size bed was nice and firm and it even had an eating area with a mini fridge, table/chairs, coffee maker and microwave. For couples who might have trouble with stairs, I would not recommend this room because it does have a very steep and narrow staircase going up, but that wasn't an issue for us. This has been our favorite room at the B&B so far. The TV was a good size (at least 50", smart tv with cable and access to Netflix, etc.). Breakfast was awesome each morning, as the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Speaking of food, be absolutely sure to make it a point to eat dinner at the Rickhouse in Bardstown (I suggest steak, 11 cheese mac & cheese, and asparagus). Overall, this was another perfect getaway for us and we are already making plans to come back to Bardstown next year for another stay at this wonderful Kentucky B&B.
Master Distiller's Den
Suitable for a Master Distiller or distinguished Bourbon Fan that loves all things Bourbon. This room is over-the-top bourbon-themed for the die-hard Bourbon Fan. Grand, spacious guest room featuring a King Bed with 7-layers of luxury linens, electric fireplace, beverage station with complementary coffees/teas, bottled water, mini-frig, microwave, and Bourbon Barrel table and 2 chairs. This room has an exterior door with a reserved parking space. Private bath features a single-person, walk-in shower with Turkish Towels, and luxurious Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

My husband and I have stayed at this Kentucky Bed and Breakfast twice now. We really like it. The owners are great and very responsive when you need something. They have great recommendations on what to do in Bardstown. We've stayed in two different rooms at this B&B and both were great and clean. My favorite was the second room which is perfect for couples. We got to stay in the Master Distiller's Den room. It was gorgeous. The king-size bed is very comfortable and you get a lot of space to just lounge. There's a fridge and a microwave and you have your own entrance directly to your room. Definitely recommended to stay if you're doing a romantic getaway to the Bourbon Trail!
Bourbon Manor’s Federal House Guest Cottage
The 1900-square foot Guest House at Bourbon Manor offers a total of 3 guestrooms: Magnolia Maiden, Debutante’s Dream, and Scarlet Starlet. Combined, these guestrooms and the shared gathering room (kitchen and den combination) are an ideal vacation rental option in Bardstown KY, just 30 minutes outside the greater Louisville area.
Built in the early 1800’s, the Guest House offers a vintage private bathroom with claw-foot tub and shower combination in EACH guestroom. A shared, gathering room which offers a kitchen/den combination, for dine-in options, beverage station, mini-frig and microwave oven. This bonus room large enough for games, cards, and socializing. A private deck offers additional space to relax with views of our gardens and grounds. Our complimentary Wi-Fi service and Cable with FREE Movies are available throughout the Guest House.
Circa 1810, The completely restored original 1900 sq. ft. the plantation home is a Bourbon Manor Guest Cottage – located just a few steps away from the Manor. For a step back to the early 1800s (with modern conveniences) and very private experience, stay in this unique Guest Cottage! It features 3 spacious Guest Rooms – each with a private bath, and a Gathering Room which serves as a kitchen and den combination. Your private deck overlooks the formal gardens and gracious grounds, and you are only a few steps from the main mansion where you receive the same great, Full-Country Breakfast as all of our guests. The spacious bedrooms, gathering room, kitchen area, and deck overlooking the private, back lawn make for a lovely home away from home for small groups or a truly romantic getaway.
There are 2 beautifully decorated antique-appointed queen-size guest rooms upstairs: 1). Magnolia Maiden features a queen-size bed and 2). Debutante’s Dream features 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds to accommodate larger parties. There is 1 guest room on the First Floor, The Scarlet Starlet. In total, up to 8 Guests may be comfortably accommodated in the Federal House (all 3 guest rooms). Each guest room features a private bath with clawfoot tub and shower. The spacious Gathering Room features a kitchen (no stove), variety of seating, game table and chairs, Cable TV, and FREE WiFi.
Guest Rooms (Debutante’s Dream, Magnolia Maiden, and Scarlet Starlet) may be rented individually OR you may opt to rent the entire cottage for your own exclusive retreat. [1 Guest Room (Scarlet Starlet) is located on the 1st floor and 2 Guest Rooms (Magnolia Maiden and Debutante’s Dream) are located on the 2nd Floor] Rate listed is based on Double Occupancy. Our trip to Bourbon Manor was fabulous. We planned a couples getaway to this Bardstown, KY Bed and Breakfast with 2 other couples and rented the entire Federal House. It was so neat to know we were staying in a 200 + year-old historic home that had been converted into one of the best places to stay in Kentucky. The accommodations were private and clean even though we shared the house with our friends. The breakfast was AMAZING! We voted it our best meal of the trip! Todd is a fabulous host and I highly recommend Bourbon Manor.
Debutante's Dream
The Debutante’s Dream is a citrus refreshment made with bourbon, brandy, orange juice and lemon juice. A favorite of the ladies, this has become an iconic area drink…which may be enjoyed in our onsite Bourbon Bar.
The Debutante’s Dream is not only named for the bourbon-based drink, but it is also an apt description for our charming plantation home guestroom. Whether young or old, ladies love this room in our private guest house for weekends and vacations with their friends. With one queen-size bed and two twin beds, the room is perfect for small groups traveling together. Here, you can enjoy each other’s company and have some lively fun in your own private accommodations.

Being my first time at a Bed and Breakfast I will say that I was not disappointed. Todd and Tyler did a wonderful job making our romantic getaway special. They take care of all details and are second to none in making you feel at home in Bardstown, KY. From welcoming you to an amazing breakfast and always asking how they can help plan your day. Stephanie with her servant's heart made sure we were settled in and took care of our every need throughout our day. She helped with reservations for dinner and was a wonderful bartender. In closing, we came to this B&B as guests and we left feeling like family.
Magnolia Maiden
A Magnolia Maiden is another bourbon-based drink that is popular with the ladies. Mixing bourbon and orange liqueur with a splash of simple syrup and club soda, this drink can technically be made as sweet as you would like. This drink, along with a Debutante’s Dream and Scarlet Starlet are often enjoyed in our onsite Bourbon Bar.
The Magnolia Maiden guestroom offers beautiful antiques and a queen-size Charleston four-poster Mohogany rice bed with designer comforter and luxury bed linens. Featuring amble seating, flat-screen TV, decorative fireplace, and private bath with claw-foot tub and shower with Turkish Towels, and custom Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Up to two people are welcome to stay in this pretty, elegant room. PLEASE NOTE: This is a 2nd floor room. If stairs are an issue, please do not choose this room.
Across the hall is the Debutante’s Dream guestroom features 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds – ideal for sharing! There is also the Scarlet Starlet guestroom which features a queen bed on the first floor. Rooms may be rented separately or as a group.

We booked Bourbon Manor for my husband’s 50th birthday party. Bardstown, KY is one of the best places to stay for a large group exploring the Bourbon Trail We had a great time at this Bed and Breakfast! Everyone enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and they were very accommodating to us. One of our friends has a gluten allergy and she was thrilled with her gluten-free pancakes. I highly recommend Bourbon Manor for any sort of getaway.
Scarlet Starlet
A Scarlet Starlet is another Bourbon-based drink that is popular with the ladies. Mixing Bourbon and vanilla cognac liqueur with a splash of hibiscus and egg white, and strawberry syrup and fresh lime juice. A Scarlet Starlet, along with a Magnolia Maiden and Debutante’s Dream Cocktails are often enjoyed in our onsite Bourbon Bar.
The Scarlet Starlet guestroom features a vintage, black and brass ornate queen bed with designer comforter and luxurious bed linens, antiques, flat-screen TV with cable and FREE Movies, decorative fireplace, and private bath featuring a vintage claw-foot tub and shower. This room is located on the 1st Floor.

This was our first B&B getaway experience and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The owner, Todd goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect and is super helpful in planning your trip and scheduling activities and dining excursions in Bardstown and beyond while you’re visiting Kentucky, the Bourbon Capital of The World. His partner Tyler is an absolute culinary genius as his breakfast menu would rival the ranks of the most seasoned chefs. The house and encompassing grounds are very welcoming and well-kept. The on-property bar “The Bunghole Lounge” is a great place to socialize with other guests and have a drink or two from their very extensive and well-priced bourbon menu. We absolutely loved our romantic getaway here and can’t wait to stay at this wonderful Bardstown Bed and Breakfast again.
