- Discover Thomas Dambo’s Forest Giants: These whimsical art installations were added in 2019 in conjunction with the 90th anniversary of the forest and arboretum. Due to the organic nature of these sculptures, they won’t be here forever, so now is the time to plan to visit if you haven’t yet! The three Thomas Dambo trolls, Mama Loumari, Little Elina, and Little Nis, will likely only be located at the park until the end of 2024. it’s an approximately 2-mile round-trip loop to see all three.
- Explore the Canopy Tree Walk: There’s a short boardwalk that extends out into the forest canopy 75 feet above the floor. This view is even more beautiful in autumn as the fall colors come to life and brighten the whole forest.
- Head to the Sensory Garden: The garden features five beds dedicated to one of the senses and a quiet space to sit and reflect.
