There are 6 bourbon distilleries in the area, including Barton 1792 Distillery and Visitor Center; Jim Beam American Stillhouse, Maker’s Mark Distillery, Four Roses Distillery, Willett Distillery, and Heaven Hill Distilleries Bourbon Heritage Center. Each is

Our featured drink for the season is a deliciously unique concoction called Honey Bourbon Cider. The recipe is as follows:
HONEY BOURBON CIDER
2.5 oz. apple cider
1 oz. bourbon
2 tsp. honey
Cinnamon stick
Fall spices like ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Couple of thin red apple slices
Our cider is great served warm or cold, and is the ideal Fall Bourbon Cocktail. Begin by heating the cider, honey, and apple slices in a small saucepan. Once it’s warmed up, pour mixture into a glass and add bourbon, a cinnamon stick, and any other fall spices you’d like, such as grated cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger. Serve as is warm or in a glass filled with ice. Enjoy!
